This cook top is elegantly designed and nice to look at. It heats up quickly and evenly and we're happy overall with the cooking quality. We are, however, very disappointed with how NOISY the vent fan is and how it VIBRATES so much that our pans constantly migrate off the center of the elements. We have to continually watch them to make sure they are centered and getting even heat. The vent is not that effective at removing fumes and steam even on the highest speed. We switched from a natural gas cook top because it was hard to clean but the glass ceramic is worse. Every little thing sticks and you literally have to scrape fine food particles off with a razor blade in addition to using a special cleanser specifically for this type of surface. I have to buff the surface repeatedly (with a LOT of elbow grease) each time I clean it. It's not a simple wipe it and you're done. We would not recommend this cook top. It's too bad showrooms don't really let consumers see this and other appliances like dishwashers, washing machines, blenders, etc. in action before you buy them.

This cooktop is great for island or peninsula installation as its built-in downdraft vent captures smoke steam and odors right at the surface And for efficient heating two double-ring round elements allow you to choose which to use based on cookware size
