(More customer reviews)I've had this for just over 6 months now in a private sauna. We use the sauna 2-3 times a week in the winter and 2-3 times a month in the summer. No problems so far. The size of my room is 6'x7' and the heater is probably a little bit too powerful for it. In the winter it heats the sauna from 30 to 200 degrees in about 40 min. We usually wait for another 20-30 min until the walls and benches get hot. Then the heat is mild and comfortable.
The rocks are on a tray above the heating elements and spraying them with water will not wet any of the electrical connections or the elements themselves. They should last for many years and it is safer too.
The heater came with 1 hour timer, thermostat and 2 power relays in a box. The manual tells everything about dimensions and electrical connections.
In my opinion supplying the rocks was completely unnecessary. Just a waste of your shipping money. You can get a bucket of the same rocks from the river nearby.

After years of research Vico Products Mfg.
