First off, the grill works great. There's plenty of surface area, it lights easily, and I like the fact that it has a lid lock while being transported. The side trays are nice. I've taken it to the beach and the ballgame - worked great in both situations. A few minor things, though. So far, I have not been successful using an adapter hose with a gallon propane tank. While the product never advertised that it could be used this way, using those small camping propane bottles is a pain (and more expensive) when you just want to fire the thing up really quick at home to cook a couple chicken breasts or hot dogs. The instructions could have been a little better, but really pay attention to the detail, and you'll be OK. Lastly, when spending this much on a grill, I was hoping the cooking surface would have been a little more substantial. I have visions of these things deteriorating pretty quickly vs a ceramic material, but then I guess it would have been heavier to lug around. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it as a portable grill, though.
