(More customer reviews)I was seeking a better panini-maker than my electric waffle iron. I try to avoid too many special-purpose electrics, so I decided on a grill-pan & press.
I purchased this pan along with the Nopro Enamel Cast Iron Panini Press. They make a terrific pair! I can preheat the press on one burner, this pan on another to make beautifully crispy panini. It also works superbly for general grilling. It heats more evenly than my cast iron griddle, leaves nice grill marks, and the non-stick surface has not failed.
I mostly cook on a gas stove, but also own a portable induction burner, so more cookware to use that is a plus.
