(More customer reviews)I absolutely love my bodum teapot. It was a wedding gift, and it makes wonderful tea. I don't know why the other reviewer has a problem with the design - I don't have any problems getting the hot water from my tea kettle into the pot. One of my favorite elements is the removable infuser basket. My other teapot doesn't have this feature and some batches of tea end up being bitter from the tea leaves you can't as easily remove; again, a great feature on the bodum. And, even though my Mother makes fun of what she calls my "Aladdin's Lamp" teapot, I get more compliments from people who come over and see it as I have it on display in my kitchen. I don't see any reason to hide it away in a cupboard. It is also very easy to clean. In regard to the other reviewer's comment about putting the pot on the stove, DON'T! It is a tea-pot... not a tea-kettle. I'm sure most of you know this, but just wanted to clarify.

Straight out of the Aladdin folk tale comes Bodum's Naoko stainless-steel teapot, which pays tribute to the genie lamps of early fantasy literature. The Naoko teapot features an exotically curved handle coupled with a pointed spout. The elixir that pours from the pot, however, is genie-free, and takes its flavor instead from such favorites as classic Darjeeling, floral oolong, or gunpowder teas. The pot, which makes a unique conversation piece, employs a removable stainless-steel infuser basket for steeping. Once the tea brews for the recommended or preferred time, the user merely removes the basket, replaces the lid, and pours. The pot holds approximately 32 ounces of beverage, enough for four 8-ounce cups of tea, and measures 6-1/2 by 8 by 10-1/2 inches (W x H x D).
