(More customer reviews)I have two Vermont Castings stoves. A couple months ago I ordered a gasket kit manufactured by Vermont Castings. I was impressed with the metal wrapped griddle gasket. For the second stove I only needed a griddle gasket so I bought this product. It appears to be manufactured by a third party, not Vermont Castings, and the difference in quality was evident. This gasket material does not cut cleanly and does not adhere to the gasket cement as well as the Vermont Castings gasket did. It also compresses and flattens out more and the finish and quality of the metal mesh is not as good. Go with the Vermont Castings brand gaskets and you won't regret it.
