(More customer reviews)I live with a rather large 18 lb. kitty named Henry who likes to sit on the stove covers. We never turn the stove on when burner covers are in place or a cat is sitting anywhere near it, but we often leave the range hood light on. Henry thinks the light is his private sunlamp and the burner covers are much more comfortable than the burner coils. These covers are not only beautiful but they can withstand the weight of Henry the Cat without bending or warping something covers in the past have failed to do, but then these things aren't made for rather large objects to sit on them. I highly recommend these covers. If they can withstand Henry, they should hold up for years to come.
