(More customer reviews)I wanted to dye wools in my shop rather than in my home and couldn't get an oven approved for the electric in the building so I went shopping. I read reviews and chose the Cadco, Portable Cast Iron Range, model KR-S2. When it arrived I was so excited. I brought my dyeing pots in and didn't have time to dye any wool. Instead, I made soup for a group and let it slow cook all day. There was a new start up smell but I never had any the rest of the day. It cooked consistently. I cooked soup several times before I finally could boil/dye some wools. It did marvelously. No start up smells, consistent temp's and the price was reasonable. I'll buy another one when I need it.
