(More customer reviews)The stopper looks nice and matches the Chemex pot; unfortunately, it falls out easily and gets hot when in place. It does what it is supposed to but is not easy to use. I would skip this item.

When the coffee's getting cold but you really want another cup you can use your Chemex coffeemaker to heat coffee on the stove, as long as you first place the metal grid on the burner. That having been said, make sure that coffee doesn't vanish into thin air as you heat it up by putting this tempered glass lid over the top.
