The handles make it easy to lift in and out of a hot oven, and the glazed exterior makes clean-up a breeze. I have mainly used this stone for baking artisan breads (my husband and I love Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day) and the cornmeal or flour used to help the dough slide onto the stone simply brushes off after the bread is done baking. I ordered the Olive green color, and besides being one of my most prized kitchen staples, it's beautiful! If you're looking for a high-quality baking stone--look no further.
