Coleman Camper's Storage Tote Review

(More customer reviews)My husband and I bought this as a way to keep all our camping cooking stuff together. His two burner Coleman stove fits perfectly in the bottom pocket and the top pocket holds just about everything we need (dishes, pots/pans, dishtowels etc.) There really is a lot of space. There are elastic pockets on the inside that hold propane bottles, utensils etc.
Now the part we don't like. There is no support on in this bag. We thought this would be like the collapsible coolers, where the sides would have some sort of padding to help hold the shape. There is no support. If we don't fill it completely full, everything just slides all over the place.
We are happy with it overall and will be using it, but thought it could have a much better design.

Looked at...
Movie style cookers -- you have to store this big thing. I prefer to keep my popper in the kitchen, not the garage. Also, they're too messy and hard to clean not to mention the high cost
Air Poppers -- not the same taste as real p-corn, kind of dry and "cardboardish"
Settled on the Whirley pop for $20 something bucks but then decided to upgrade to the "Ultimate" kit and I couldn't be happier. So easy to use, quick as the microwave, tastes 10x better than microwave or air popper, easy to clean, cheap to own. Not much else to say other than go buy one of these! We eat p-corn at least 3xs a week so we've kinda become p-corn snobs and this is the best we've had. Happy popping! Also, I called Wabash Farms customer service for advice on the best oil...they were incredibly knowledgable and super friendly == Great product, great manufacturer. Get it. I also bought Norpro Scoop Stainless Steel, 35MM (1 Tablespoon) as a scooper so we can use the cocunut oil. Do yourself a favor and get some extra coconut oil...you'll never want to use anything else again!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this popper after reading the reviews. I love Kettle Corn, and have tried various microwave versions, which were OK, but were kind of expensive for the amount received. The reviews were mostly favorable on this unit and some of the remarks that the construction is rather flimsy are also valid. But friends it's a popcorn maker not a sledge hammer. The weak link is the crank and gear mechanism which could be improved without a huge investment, but that said if you don't force things I'm sure you will get many buckets of delicious wholesome popcorn, the best that I've tasted in many years, and with very few unpopped kernels. You will have to experiment to determine the heat range, I use a gas range, but the results are worth the effort. The regular popcorn is great using 2 tbsp of peanut oil and 1/2 cup of Orville's salt to taste you won't be disappointed. The key is to quit cranking when the resistance is great and remove from heat when the popping slows.
The Kettle Corn is delicious and you can have it whenever you wish without looking for a Fair or Carnival. I alter the recipe a little using 1/4 cup of peanut oil & 1/4 cup of sugar to 1/2 cup of Orville's and as I said when the cranking gets tough STOP and you won't strip the gears. Be sure to season the pot before using the popper for the first time by putting a tablespoon of oil swirling it around and heating. Allow to cool and wipe it out with a paper towel and you're good to go. Start enjoying popcorn like you haven't had since you were a child!

Cricket Ash Vac Review

(More customer reviews)I bought one of these as a present for my husband. It vacuums fine. However, it has a good sized dent in the lower back, where the I.D. plate is, though it was well packed. That means it was already dented when they put it in the box. The dent prevents the cord from being retracted, so it dangles helplessly out the back. I specifically chose this model so I could leave in on the fireplace hearth since it is better looking that all the rest I saw. I emailed the seller weeks ago and I have not heard one word from them-not even that they acknowledged receiving my email. I am still waiting for some kind of answer as to options for fixing it.
