The cook top I wanted had to be pure black, not the type with the hazy looking surface I've seen on many brands. It is gorgeous but I'm still getting used to it. The burners don't seem to be calibrated properly in that they don't seem to reduce heat very quickly and the simmer mode is way to high. I have had glass top models in other homes and that was not an issue.
