(More customer reviews)I was very intrigued by the double range feature, which quite honestly worked great.
But I would NOT recommend this unit. I have only had my unit for 4 months & I have two major problems:
The area where the control panel is is "framed out" & this area gets completely scratched up by any pots or pans that are placed on the rear burners (or if you place large pans on the stove too). Mine is scratched all the way across... looks horrible for being brand new.
Also, if you ever happen to spill anything (Maytag tells you to "avoid spills"), but if it happens to run off the front of the stove top, it happen to drip down the (2) doors, well, if it does that, it will then go into the grates on the top of the doors & then drip inside the glass of the oven doors. Well, there is no way to clean this. (maybe a service call??)
Needless to say, my brand new top of the line, double oven.... scratched & stained. Maytag will do nothing for me either.
I encourage all to chose your next option.
