(More customer reviews)This is a useful flame tamer for a gas stove (I don't have electric). We use it to disperse heat evenly and warm up foods in ceramic casserole dishes. Using the stove-top instead of the oven frees up much needed room in the oven. Comes with a handy detachable metal lift that should not be attached when the flame is on - only to revome the reducer after the flame has been turned off.
