(More customer reviews)I purchased the Vintage Iron Wood Holder and was very pleased with the product except for the broom that came with it. The broom is not meant to be use in a rough way. It broke in shipping. The shovel is very sturdy, not like the old one I bought. It is flimsy and about to brake. I am very pleased with the Woodfield Vintage, thank you very much Amazon.

(More customer reviews)I have a nickel trimmed wood stove and at first was shopping for a right angled brush set to pull the ashes into the hole that sits above the ash box. After seeing that this minor modification commanded an unjustified premium, I instead decided to price out sets that had nickel or brushed steel accents. I had almost given up in sticker shock when I found this set from Aiden's Hearth. Thinking that it probably had flaws to reveal when received, I went ahead and ordered. It is absolutely solid and heavy duty, and looks fantastic on the hearth pad. I will gladly use a hand brush inside the stove if necessary, because I want to keep this one looking new. It will still sweep the exterior just fine. The nickel rail around the base is solid, the handles are solid, there are no cheap shortcuts on this set and I can't recommend enough saving $100 or more with this product over similar sets that can't possibly be superior in workmanship. I'll quit now before I sound like a shill - just a very happy customer.

(More customer reviews)I had never purchased or even looked at fireplace sets before and was surprised by how ugly most of them were. I was thrilled to find this one and ordered it with rush delivery. Two days later, it was at my door, but when I unpacked it, one of the rods was missing and there was a hole in the end of the box where it had gone through. I called the phone number for aidens hearth as soon as I noticed the piece missing. It would have been 7 or 8pm in Iowa where the shop was, but a very nice man answered and assured me that my replacement would be on its was the following day. I had it within 4 days and it's set beautifully beside my fireplace looking like it has always been there. Brass wouldn't ordinarily be my choice, but the house came with a beautiful chandelier with brass fittings so brass it is! This set doesn't look cheap or flimsy the way a lot of brass does and has a wonderful heft to it when you pick it up. Highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)We live in MA and make use of a wood stove for our primary heat. I have been looking for a pair of gloves to replace the pair we wore out last winter. Our old gloves were from LL Bean and worked really well, to the point that I was easily able to pick up and adjust red hot logs.
These gloves don't offer the same level of protection. I can feel the heat and get burned much sooner than I did in the past. I think that they would work well for occasional fireplace or "low heat" use. I do like the extra long sleeve as it does help in keeping my forearm protected.
I would give them 2 1/2 stars if it were an available option.
Unbeatable Sale, Inc shipped the product right away and I received them in no time. They also included a pair of "thank you" mints in the package. A nice "old school" touch that you usually don't get from online retailers.

I can stack enough wood for two night fires, plus there is a shelf at the very bottom where I can add newspaper or the little logs to help lite the fires. Makes it look neat andorganized. It added great decoration to the livingroom. I like having the wood holder and tools all-in-one so that I dont have clutter in my livingroom.
