Lifetime 2401 Sport & Camp Table with 42-by-26-Inch Molded Top, Hunter Green Review

I have gone through a few of those other folding tables with the chairs attached that "claim" to seat 4 adults. Maybe they mean 4 adults but only 1 at a time?
This Lifetime table is just as sturdy as their full size tables, with the chairs being made of similar construction. Everything folds up neatly and has a carrying handle attached. The seat looks very sturdy and can easily hold 4 adults if you want to be cozy since it is not very wide. But it will comfortable seat 4 kids or 2 adults which is just what I needed.
The box arrived damaged like maybe it was a return but the table was in perfect condition.

Coleman Pack-Away Table for 4 Review

Coleman Pack-Away Table for 4
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've been doing A LOT of research into a folding table and chair set for my family when we go outdoors for hiking, camping, etc. This table set has satisfied all my requirements. It is very easy to assemble and is sturdy once it is up. I love that we no longer have to hunt for an empty picnic table when we go out that is usually really dirty with bird droppings and bugs and whatever was left over from the last people who used it. Now we can set up our table wherever we want (and get a great view!) and have a clean place to sit and enjoy our meal or to relax and rest. This set holds our family of two adults and two small children very well although I'm sure it would work just as well with 4 adults. I love the extra padding on the benches which make them that much more comfortable. The only small complaint I have is that the table top cannot accommodate all our dishes. It can only hold our plates and cups and a pitcher but that is to be expected with it being compact enough to carry. Overall, I would highly recommend this table set and so far we have been very happy with it.

HotSpot Notebook Portable Charcoal Grill Review

HotSpot Notebook Portable Charcoal Grill

The Good:
I bought this grill for this summers motorcycle camping adventures. I can't think of a better use for this grill. Narrower main body section gives many options for tying down, and on my bike (a shadow 750) the bottom "foot hole" was able to go over and around my sissy bar and sit on my rack. Pretty sweet. 2 up camping now comes with a BBQ!
The Bad (at least for motorcycle camping):
It is a bit flimsy (but quite stable when open for grilling). With care, I am expecting to get about 50 or so BBQs out of it. After it falls apart I am planning to go to a metal shop in town and have it re-fabricated in some heaver gauge steel. I would be willing to have a little heaver (and smaller) grill for motorcycle camping if it was durable. The grilling surface is large. Expect to need about 3 pounds of charcoal to get it going well, 6 pounds (an entire small bag) of charcoal for a full grill to feed 4+ people. This makes it a requirement to setup camp, and then ride out to get groceries and charcoal. Messy.
I've BBQ'd for years and have to say the "action" on this grill is quite good. If you really have a need for an extremely portable grill, I would definitely recommend it. If you are just looking for a smaller grill for car camping or porch cookouts I would recommend the more traditional Coleman and Weber portable grills with a lid and better durability.

Coleman 5010D700T Camp Oven Review

Coleman 5010D700T Camp Oven

I have seen these ovens on store shelves most of my life. I was certain that a little aluminum box could not function as an oven. But recently, we were embarking on a 10-day camping trip, and I was going to need to bake while we were there. I am pretty adept at baking with coals from a campfire or a charcoal fire, but on the trip in question, there was a burn ban in effect. What to do? I got on Amazon and read reviews about the Coleman Camp Oven, and decided that if my original opinion was correct, Coleman wouldn't still be making this little gem.
I purchased the oven and it arrived when promised. We took it to the campground, and were totally amazed at how beautifully it worked. We baked brownies, biscuits, potatoes, cornbread and even gluten-free hamburger buns and rolls. Everything was wonderful. The oven was easy to set up and use. But it is not like baking at home in your regular oven.
Tips you should know:
> Only use the oven on a camp stove. Try to get your stove as level as possible.
> Start warming it up with a low flame, and increase the stove flame as the oven begins to pre-heat.
> Plan to use small bakeware. Coleman suggests 8x8 pans. Here are some products that we found worked well:
* Nordic Ware Toaster Oven Baking Sheet
* Ekco mini muffin pan for 12 muffins
* Fox Run Set of Four English Muffin Rings (for the burger buns) on the baking sheet
* MSR Blacklite Fry Pan
* 8x8 foil pan
> After your food is in the oven, you really need to watch the temperature gauge from time to time. The longer it bakes, the more likely you will need to adjust the stove flame to regulate the temperature inside the oven. This is NOT set-it-and-forget-it baking.
> We found that timing was pretty close to baking at home, as long as the temperature was constant.
> Try not to peek too often. Peeking lowers the internal temperature. Look when you need to & that's all.
> Clean up spills (outside and inside) as soon as the oven cools. Don't let gunk bake on during the next use.
The oven folds up quickly when it is time to pack up. We keep it in its original box, and it is ready to go!
I still love the thrill of accomplishment of baking using a campfire, but this little oven is a great addition for those times when a fire is not convenient.
May we all have many years of excellent campground baking! Happy Camping! Happy Baking! Happy Eating!

Camping stoves and other cooking accessories have made it possible to cook most things outdoors, but baked goods have always been out of the question. Until now, that is. Made of smooth aluminized steel, the Coleman camping oven lets you bake a batch of muffins, biscuits, or rolls right at the campsite. The oven doesn't require electric or gas power to work. Instead, campers simply place the oven on top of a Coleman two- or three-burner stove, which provides all the heat you need to bake your favorite dishes. The oven also offers such baking essentials as an adjustable steel bake rack and an easy-to-read thermometer. And when you're done baking, the oven folds flat for easy storage. Made in China, the Coleman camping oven measures 12 by 12 by 12 inches (W x H x D) when standing and weighs 7 pounds.
About Coleman More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a "no light, no pay" clause--a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked--and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark.
In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company's current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won't deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.
