Corelle Coordinates Country Cottage Melamine Spoon Rest Review

Corelle Coordinates Country Cottage Melamine Spoon Rest
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is cheap plastic, not like the Corelle plates, and the heart was printed on a little sideways so it looked off center. Plus, it was awkward to use. I figured since it's plastic and has a print on, you probably shouldn't put it in the dishwaster, which made me prefer the stove top instead of using the spoon rest, because it is tough to clean the little 90 degree corners. I did however give it 2 stars because it does match the set of dishes very well.

Room-to-Room Fan - Circulate Cold or Warm Air from Room to Room Review

Room-to-Room Fan - Circulate Cold or Warm Air from Room to Room
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this to move warm air from our LR to the rest of the when the woodstove is going. It gets too hot in the room and this does help. It's not the perfect solution, but it was cheaper than putting another doorway in just yet. It does require cutting a hole in the wall (obviously) so if you're not handy, keep that in mind. It's much quieter than the doorway fan we have. I'd recommend it.

Pyrex Bakeware 4.8 Quart Oblong Baking Dish, Clear Review

Pyrex Bakeware 4.8 Quart Oblong Baking Dish, Clear
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My new (6 month old) pyrex broke violently shortly after it was taken out of the oven and set on the oven to cool. None of the stove top burners were on or had been on for hours, and ut was NOT on a burner which vents heat from the oven. All the dish contained was bread pudding, and it certainly hadn't been roasting under the broiler. The glass shards were numerous, large, sharp, very hot, and flew everywhere, with an enormously loud breaking sound, so whether or not you want to call that an explosion, I'm very glad I wasn't in the room. I've been cooking with pyrex my whole life and never had a problem with it before, so I'm loth to give it a bad review, but it was a pretty scary experience.

Black & Decker PKS160 Power Scrubber Review

Black and Decker PKS160 Power Scrubber
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have used the Black & Decker Scum buster for years. I like these little power scrubbers better because:
1. It's smaller and more portable than the Scum buster.
2. It performs the same as the Scum buster, so if I can get the same cleaning power in a small handheld device, I will pick that anytime.
3. The Scum buster uses those proprietary Ni-Cad cylindrical batteries. Those are a specialized battery that you have to buy at Sears or the hardware store and they are expensive.
This power scrubber uses four AA batteries. We all have those around the house. Moreover, I use Sanyo eneloop rechargeable batteries which means I am never out of power.
4. What I really like is that this power scrubber is small, light and easy to use. You don't get tired using it. The huge Scum Buster eventually gets tiresome to use and it's awkward to handle.
5. B & D designed the Power Scrubber to spin fast and powerful enough to really scrub things, like pots and pans, tile, etc. But it does not spin so fast to where it would shoot water, cleanser, or whatever all over the place. It's speed is perfect for keeping the cleaning material in the pad and on the surface you are scrubbing.
6. This is perfect for its intended uses, scrubbing the sink, things in the sink and the shower/tub. I even used it on my tires!
7. Bonus Tip: I find it works quite well when applying medium pressure to the scrubber. It's powerful enough that when applying pressure it does not stall, it simply scrubs harder, which is what I want in a device like this.
8. And I like that it can stay submerged up to ten minutes (per the owner's manual). That means you can leave it in the sink with the water running without worrying about it shorting out.
Bonus Tip: In fact, the owner's manual says that if water does get into the battery compartment you only have to stop using it and let it dry out over night. How cool is that, not having to worry about water damaging the unit.
All in all a great device. It has saved me a lot of work in the kitchen.

A perfect kitchen companion, this handy power scrubber makes cleanup time a lot faster. It features a fully submersible design, a simple fingertip on/off button, and a rubber over-molded handle to ensure a secure, comfortable grip. Use the power scrubber to remove baked-on food from pots and pans--without the need for elbow grease or letting them soak overnight. The scrubber can also be used to clean dishes and glassware, sinks, stovetops, refrigerator shelves, and other kitchen appliances. Its durable scraper edge assists in removing stubborn spots. Four AA batteries and two heavy-duty scrub pads come included. With a compact shape that stores away easily when not in use, the scrubber measures 6-2/7 by 3 by 9-2/5 inches and carries a two-year warranty.

EntreeAir Door Frame Fan By Suncourt - White or Brown Available Review

EntreeAir Door Frame Fan By Suncourt - White or Brown Available
Average Reviews:

Some say it's quiet, some say it's loud. Really, that's a personal thing. I used a Flip Video Mino Series Camcorder, 60 Minutes (Black) to record both my PC and the Entree Air fan, so you can hear for yourself the noise levels. My wife says it's a calming noise, and I just care that the rest of the house is warm.
The only annoying thing I found was that the cord comes out the bottom. So if you are at the heat source, looking towards a door, and the fan is on the right side, it'll stick out weird.
