(More customer reviews)Do not pay attention to the 9 x 9 x 2 inch product description if you are wanting a deep cover. I tried unsuccessfully with Amazon and the vendor to verify ahead of time the depth of these covers. Amazon didn't know and referred me to the Corelle vendor, which also did not know. I took a chance because most of the time Amazon's dimensions are accurate. While they are 9 inches square, not only are they not 2 inches deep; they are only 7/8 inch deep. These covers should not even be classified as gas burner covers because at that depth they are more suitable for electric ranges. They are also more cheap looking in person than what the picture displays. For $5.63 they are not worth my time to return. Thinking outside the box, I'm going to use them under plants on my patio.

(More customer reviews)This is cheap plastic, not like the Corelle plates, and the heart was printed on a little sideways so it looked off center. Plus, it was awkward to use. I figured since it's plastic and has a print on, you probably shouldn't put it in the dishwaster, which made me prefer the stove top instead of using the spoon rest, because it is tough to clean the little 90 degree corners. I did however give it 2 stars because it does match the set of dishes very well.

I now have my full set however it feels kind of thin and fragile. It's an ok buy but when the time comes to replace them I'll be looking for something a bit more durable.

Ideal for potlucks, large dinners, and other occasions when two casseroles are better than one, this four-piece Corelle Coordinates casserole set is a busy chef's best friend. The set comes with 1-1/2-quart and 2-1/2-quart casserole dishes, along with matching lids for each container. As with all Coordinates bakeware, the dishes are made from durable ceramic designed to withstand temperature extremes, meaning chefs can transfer them from the oven to the table to the refrigerator without fear of cracking (though Corelle recommends letting the bakeware cool before exposing to the fridge). (More customer reviews)I bought this spoon rest because I was tired of getting the counter dirty with my cooking utensils and wanted something that would match my Simple Lines set.
This spoon rest works well, but anything can work well as a spoon rest. The paper towels and pan lids I used to use work just as well, but this spoon rest is a bit more stylish than some folded up napkin. It's fairly large and can easily fit two large wooden spoon or anything similar. I've even used them to rest tongs on.
The bad thing about this spoon rest is that is it plastic! Don't put anything too hot on it. I was expecting something similar to the rest of the set. Guess I should have read the description more closely. This spoon rest is made from "melamine," whatever that is... The rest of the Simple Lines set is glass or ceramic, but this spoon rest is cheap plastic. Unless you're looking really closely, you won't notice it but it does have a different shine. It's hard to get plastic to sparkle as well the rest of the Simple Lines glass or ceramic pieces.
This spoon rest is best if you have money burning a hole in your pocket or really want to make your kitchen match. It's a bit pricey for just a simple plastic dish.

(More customer reviews)I purchase this spoon rest because I needed a couple more dollars for free shipping and because I actually needed a spoon rest. It does everything it is designed to do. It is a little ugly with the iris things on it, but if flowers are your thing then you should have no problem with that. We have knocked it around and no scratches, it sits very close to the flame on our small stove and has no signs of melting. It stays clean, keeps our stove clean, and for the price can't be beat. If you need a spoon rest that is durable and don't mind flowers, you should be comfortable buying this one.

Because they are made of thin metal they bend a little when they push together, rather than laying nice and flat against the stove.
