(More customer reviews)If i had not found a glowing review of this product on the web, I would not have purchased this item as I was skeptical the eggspress would work as described. This gadget makes great hard boiled eggs!!!!! The first time i put raw eggs in the unit i did not snap the top on correctly and the eggs started oozing out the sides. Once I snapped the top on correctly the eggs stopped oozing. I also misjudged the time need to cook the hard boiled eggs. All i did is put the unit back together and microwaved the eggs for 90 more seconds and the eggs were cooked perfectly!
During my first test run I figured out how to correctly assemble the eggspress and time needed to fully cook the eggs. the eggs taste great! Some of the eggs are a little rubbery on the top side. The eggpress is a quick and easy way to make hard boiled eggs!!! Not having to peel the shell off of the eggs is a real plus!!!!!!!

Calphalon Contemporary Stainless 8-Quart Pot with Glass Lid and 2 Inserts Review

(More customer reviews)After stocking up on Calphalon cookware through Amazon, I almost purchased this item after reading the official Amazon review. Fortunately, I examined one while browsing a local store, and saw that only the bottom was aluminum core, not the sides, and the bottom was impact-bonded with a seam. Examine the Amazon close-up picture and you also can easily see the seam at the bottom.
The box I looked at clearly stated this as well. The multi-pot that I examined was definitely Calphalon Contemporary Stainless, not the less expensive Simply Calphalon series. This is not the 8-quart stockpot, which is much more expensive, and does not come with any inserts.
I am purchasing the Calphalon Tri-Ply Stainless 8-quart stockpot instead, and finding an after-market stainless steel steamer insert. The inserts for this pan and the Simply Calphalon Stainless 8-quart multi-pot do not fit the Tri-Ply. The two pasta inserts that Calphalon offers for sale alone are for the professional and contemporary stainless stockpots only, and also do not fit the Tri-Ply.
The official Amazon review needs to be revised.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the True Induction cooktop unit on eBay and was really satisfied with its performance. I wanted a unit that would go with my darker granite kitchen countertop and the black finish on this item looks perfect. One thing that I noticed was that it was more light weight than I thought it would be . . . I am actually able to tuck it in an upper cabinet when not in use.
By far the best feature is the timer function. You can program in (read: really easily) the exact time you want to cook your dish. This is super helpful for pasta & rice dishes b/c it takes the guess work out of when it's done.
I'm excited to use it for the holidays because sometimes 4 stove burners just aren't enough. The portability will help too - it will work as a buffet warmer for my turkey gravy!
