(More customer reviews)I purchased this product because I wanted to match my stainless steel appliances. I notice this hood was larger than my 1980's era hood that I inherited from the previous owner of my home. So, it was time for an update. The installation was not too hard for a DIY type person, such as myself. I purchased the hood in a chain home improvement store and didn't look for the reviews on Amazon like I normally do to see how others view the quality of a product. I was shocked to learn that Amazon sells the hood that I purchased for $100 less than I purchased it at the store. Wow! That is a big difference. If my cheapness weren't out-weighed by my laziness, I'd take the hood back for a refund and purchase it again on Amazon. Oh well, lesson learned.
