(More customer reviews)I have had two smooth top cooking stoves, a white one and my new one that has a black cooking top. Got to say Weiman makes the best Glass Cook Top cleaner. I just wash the the cooking top off with alittle soap and water. Put alittle cleaner on paper towel rub it over the cooking top and polish with a clean paper towel and the top shines so nice. If something is sticking to the top just use a stove top scrubber, then shine with a paper towel. Thank you Weiman you make the best cleaner I have found.

CERAMA BRYTE Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner Big Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I bought Cerama Bryte and their Stainless Steel Cleaner with all the gadgets and bought in bulk 6 bottles of each. I paid for the whole shipment over $97 with shipping.
The Cerama Bryte does not work at all on taking the spots or the overflow of the water when your boiling potatoes and it boils on to the cooktop. This was a real waste of good money. The stainless steel cleaner is just ok. I was willing to spend the money for a real good cleaner to keep my very expensive new Italian made stainless steel range with the sealed ceramic cooktop that cost me over $2250 US.
After I found that the Cerama Bryte did not give me good results I started searching the internet for other ways to clean the ceramic stovetop without scratching or damaging it. Here is my recommendation:
By a can of Bar Keepers Friend (non-abrasive cleaning powder for about $1.19 a can) and the Mr. Clean Magic erasers. Wet your ceramic cooktop with a little water and put a couple of teaspoons of the Bar Keepers Friend powder. Put a little bit of water on your Mr. Clean magic eraser and then lightly rub all the powder and water with the eraser. After a couple of minutes wipe off the paste with a sponge and get it so it is nearly clean. Finish off with Windex Streak-Free and a paper towel and you have a beautiful clean ceramic cooktop just like it was new.
So I have my cleaning cabinet full of this cerama bryte cleaner, treated wipes, stainless steel cleaner and treated wipes as well and I am going to give it to anyone who wants to pick it up. If not gone in the next month it is all going out with the trash for pickup.
Worst cleaning product I have ever used is Cerama Bryte!

It's not everyday that I get a $3,000 stove and wanted to keep it in the best cleaned condition possible. The cleaner removes any stain or cooked on debris I've come across so far. It also removes grease easily which for a slick stovetop can be a little messy to do but not with Cerama Bryte cleaner. I don't use it everyday; instead I use soapy water inbetween applications of Cerama Bryte. I recommend the Bryte for protecting you stovetop, because after applying it there seems to be a thin film that allow your pots and pans to sit on. I am very pleased with my purchase.

(More customer reviews)My wife used this product one time and declared that she hated it and would neve use it again. I had to try it for myself to see if she was exaggering. She wasn't.
I sprayed it on a cooktop after making some crabcakes with the resulting splattering of oil. I sprayed on the product as directed. It comes out in a streamy glob, not a nice symmetrical spray, so it's hard to control.

Next I wiped with a wet sponge as directed,followed by a wipe with a dry towel. The results were catastrophic. Our cooktop had never looked worse, covered with smears and blotches.
Luckily we had our old standby, Weiman CookTop Cleaner, in the wings. A few swipes of the Weiman and the cooktop looked great.
Our almost full container of Easy-Off is going in the trashcan where it belongs.

(More customer reviews)I bought this goop to clean my glass-top stove. I let it soak into the surface for 1-2 minutes before scrubbing with a sponge. I use rubber gloves because from the smell of it, I'm pretty sure this is toxic stuff. It removes only a little of the burnt-in stains on my stove. I also use it on my stainless steel pans and it also only slightly improves the stains. Once I'm finished with this product, I'm going to search for a better one.

(More customer reviews)I had an electric cooktop in dire need of an effective cleaner. Previously, I would use some combination of windex, barkeeper's friend, bon ami, or comet, yet they were never sufficient, and always left a bit of residue on the surface despite the most vigorous scrubbing.
I saw the ads for the Scotch-Brite Cooktop cleaner, so I was desperate to try something effective. The holder looks like a mini-iron, and it has a velcro-like surface on the bottom which secures the cleaner pad. This pad is amazing- I'm not sure what comprises the cleaning agent, but it wipes away stains, food residues, and burn marks with ease. After wiping the cooktop, just rinse with a sponge, and cleanup with a paper towel. And, you can double the lifetime of your cleaning pads by reversing them and using the other side!
Good job Scotch brite!

Sears sells something called, IIRC, Cook Top Cleaning Cream; it's similar, but it's a bit thicker. You don't have to use as much of it, it's easier to scrub the spots that need it, it dries faster, and it wipes off more easily, leaving a clean and shiny surface with less rubbing.

I have used many products in the Scotch Brite cleaning line and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, if you've seen the commercial and expect it to perform as shown, you'll be sadly disappointed. There is no mention in the commercial that you've got to buff the daylights out of it to get rid of the haze the product leaves behind. And it didn't remove "all the cooked on food" as advertised. Save your money.
