KitchenAid® Gourmet Essentials® 10-Pc. Cookware Set Review

This set is not only sleek and beautiful for any modern day kitchen, but it cooks wonderfully! At first I thought the non-stick would deterrent me from any type of `roasting', but I was surprised. This set gives you amazing `even' heat distribution. It will cook an egg delicately if need be, yet, you can actually roast vegetables over high heat. It works better than my wok!

It does all this and cleans in an easy manner! No fuss! I love it! I defiantly recommend this set to any moderate cooker.

Adagio Teas Glass Water Kettle Review

Adagio Teas Glass Water Kettle

This was a good selection for me because I specifically did not want a whistling kettle, and I am tired of the decay and discoloration I've experienced with metal tea kettles. Other reviewers are right - it seems flimsy, especially the handle, so I set my electric stove setting on medium, not medium high, as I used to. It does seem to boil water more quickly, but that may just be my perception, since I could never actually see the water boiling in the metal tea kettles.
I'll use it as long as it lasts, but I am concerned about how easily it might break, especially the handle. Another negative - if you tip it all the way to empty the last drop of water, the cover falls off. If I were the manufacturer, I would offer an optional whistle, make the handle more substantial and design a more secure cover.
