I have been using this hibachi grill for 2 years now and it is fantastic. A small amount of charcoal will grill a steak to perfection. By adjusting the air vent you can control the heat nicely. It is worth the price and I would buy this item again!

I am SO in love with my KitchenAid grill pan. Nothing sticks to it! Believe me, I've given it lots of opportunities to let me down, and it always comes through. I've made steak fajitas, grilled chicken, salmon fillets - all cooked perfectly, quickly and with those great grill marks to boot! Clean up is easy, too. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves cooking. A great buy!

Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron Panini Press and Skillet Grill Sets Review

Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron Panini Press and Skillet Grill Sets
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I originally wrote this review for the press alone. At the time I bought the press, Amazon wasn't offering the press/pan as a set. Now it does and since anyone interested in this product is probably going to be looking at reviews of the set rather than the individual components, I'll repeat my review, with enhancements:
While shopping a retail cooking store, I fell in love with the Krups FDE312 panini press. A bit of Amazon research, however, turned up a disturbing pattern of sudden failures in this product. Research into other presses from Cuisinart, DeLonghi, Breville, Villaware, and others failed to produce a clear front runner. It seemed that each product had one or more issues - non-removable grill plates, difficult cleaning, lack of grill ribs, flimsy handles, tendency to dry food, non-adjustable temperature, etc. Enter the Le Creuset 10 ¼" grill pan and panini press. You can submerge them to clean. They're coated with enamel, not Teflon, which means with proper care they should last two lifetimes (although they're only guaranteed for the lifetime of the original owner)(and note, this is a satin enamel coating, not the Le Creuset smooth coating, the longevity of which I can confirm from personal experience). There's no electrical element to burn out, no cord to store, no moving parts to break. Use is simple. Heat the grill on one burner (we have gas, but they're supposed to work with other technologies) and the press on the other. Wait until a spatter of water vaporizes almost instantly. Brush grill pan with some oil. Place sandwiches on grill pan. Pick up the press, brush on some oil, place on sandwiches and press for a few moments. Sizzle, sizzle. Wait until the cheese melts. Serve. The panini were just like what I'd eaten in Italy. I haven't owned an electric press, but I can't imagine they'd be better. Cleanup of the enamel surface requires a bit of care but, unlike every Teflon-coated product I've ever owned, that surface will probably still be there 20 years from now. And since the grill pan actually has sides (unlike every electric panini press I looked at), there was no side-spattering and thus no cleanup to do around the cooking area. The only disadvantages - the grill/press combination costs $140, almost twice the cost of the average electric panini grill. But since many of the grill reviews I read spoke of this being their second (or third) electric grill, I suspect you'd make the money back over the next 20 years. Also, running multiple batches is a bit more of a problem than with a self-heating grill, since you need to place the now oily press back on the flame to reheat it, which can potentially lead to flaring of the residual oil, and will also get the burner oily. I intend to see, however, if you can reheat the press in the pan rather than putting it directly on a burner.

Delivering even heat on the top and bottom, this 10-1/4-inch square skillet grill with a 9-inch ribbed press makes it simple to prepare delicious, cafe-style hot sandwiches, paninis, and melts--complete with authentic grill marks on both sides. The grill pan features raised ridges that not only impart tasty grill marks, but they also help drain away excess fat and grease for healthier results. Because it's made of cast iron, the two-piece set requires only a low to medium heat setting, making stovetop coking more economical. Another thoughtful detail include its dual spouts for nondrip pouring--one on each side to accommodate both right- and left-handed users.
Like other pieces in Le Creuset's line of enameled cast iron, the cookware's exterior features a colorful, long-lasting enamel that resists chipping and cracking, while its interior provides a satin black enamel--no need to season the cookware in the oven before use. As cast iron is unexcelled for even heat distribution and superior heat retention, and enamel is impervious to acids and odors, the grill cooks food uniformly and gently without hot spots and can be used for cooking on the stovetop or finishing in the oven. The cookware also provides a strong iron handle with an opposite helper handle for a steady grip, and it can be safely used at any oven temperature, under the broiler, and on any stovetop, including induction (the panini press with its phenolic handle is oven-safe up to 350 degrees F). Beautiful enough for the table yet durable enough to outlive its lifetime limited warranty, the cookware brings joie de vivre to any kitchen it graces and should be hand washed for best results.

Earthenware Portable Hibachi Grill Review

Earthenware Portable Hibachi Grill

Do not buy this!!!!The pretty lettering is just a piece of paper pasted on. The pot is just dried clay, not even sure if it was fired.
The paper washed off and so did the white paint on the clay. It is about four inches square. Too small for anything, really. I tried to return it with a complaint and was told that it was never advertized as "fired". I do not know but the word "earthenware" means an item that was fired, to me. Was severly disappointed.

Son of Hibachi Combo with Snuff out Pouch Review

Son of Hibachi Combo with Snuff out Pouch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this grill because it looked like it had it all, and I must say it really lived up to the expectations. Living in Sweden we have a fairly short summer that really makes you want to be out as often as you can. For me happiness lives in the ability to barbecue. Disposable grills is something that is big here, unfortunately its not very environmentally friendly or very good. So far the Son of Hibachi has been able to replace them with style.
The product description is pretty much on the money. Start-up is easy and fast, I would say the 10 minute mark can swing up and down a little depending on what coals you use. Lump coal is faster, briquettes a little slower - but if you can normally light your coals with fire starters, be it liquids or other you will have no problem here. The chimney effect of the closed up grill is noticeable and works as a charm.
When you notice the top coals are lit, peeking down from the top, you fold it open and the top handles become legs for the grill sides to rest upon. What strikes you at first is the intense heat wave created by the two surfaces - it is hot! Fortunately you can adjust the grilles in four levels to reduce some of that intense first heat.
We have tried cooking some different things now from hot dogs to chicken breasts to hamburgers and so far it has all worked out very well. The heavy duty grilles leave some nice black patterns on the cooking surface, just the way I think it should be.
The whole construction breathes sturdy, everything has that robust feel about it - all packed with coals it weighs in on about 16 pounds (7.5 kilo) which is a little heavy but knowing that nothing about this grill spells flimsy I accept that.
Another real good thing about this combo is the Snuff-out-pouch which really elevates this purchase. Once done grilling you close up the grill again and let that chimney effect clean of your grilles. Then smoking hot you put it down in your fire retardant pouch and zip it up - in litterally less than 10 seconds you are ready to go. Sure the bag heats up a little but considering the heat of the grill its nothing. The instructions state to leave it for at least 30 minutes before putting it in your trunk - an obvious protection against lawsuits. We have found this to be, in our case, unnecessary. As long as it stands up it's not going to damage anything. The bag can let out some smoke initially when packed but this settles pretty fast once oxygen depravation in the bag sets in.
My only gripe about Amazons product description is that the grill ships with a "Grill N Fry cast iron griddle for cooking eggs, pancakes, etc." which is only half true. Part of the grille has a flat surface true, but I don't see how it would be enough for a pancake an egg id probably fine. Luckily you can get a complete frying surface as an accessory if you look around online for a little bit.
All in all this is a marvelous little bbq which is well worth its pretty low price tag (in my opinion). Highly recommended for the excursion barbecuer.
EDIT: I would like to clarify one thing with the snuff-out pouch. I did actually manage to burn a backpack slightly I had crammed against the side of the pouch in my trunk. The sides of the pouch does get very hot after packing so I would avoid putting anything against it for a while. THe front and back however never gets very hot.

Calphalon HE600CG Removable-Plate Nonstick Countertop Grill Review

Calphalon HE600CG Removable-Plate Nonstick Countertop Grill
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've had many indoor grills, this one outshines all of them! It is a large grill, with space enough for four burgers, sandwiches, chicken thighs or breasts, etc. It heats up fast with minimal, if any smoke. I love the timer option and control of the temperature. It is super easy to clean and the removable plates fit nicely in the dishwasher. The drip tray is huge and located where it should be, in the back, so when you open up your grill while cooking, the grease goes in it and not on your counter or under the grill. This is a bonus safety measure which I describe in detail later on in this review.
The cooking quality is excellent. One of the reviewers complained about how poorly his chicken and steak turned out. I do not understand that, he must have cooked at the wrong temperatures (too hot), because we've had perfect results every time. It doesn't taste like steamed anything, but like grilled food. And yes, it makes a mean panini sandwich!
This grill is well made with quality parts. The only part that is questionable is the adjustable height knob, which is plastic, and I could see this breaking down the road, since we use this grill daily. I called customer service about it, and they said should it break, they would send out a new part, no problem. Good to know.
This grill looks so good on the counter, that I leave it there. It does not look tacky like the other models out there, where I found myself wanting to hide them right after use.
There was a huge fire hazard defect on a no-name cusinart model that I bought from Walmart for $50, which occurred well after the warranty ended. That grill ended up in the trash can. What happened with it is the grease leaked underneath whenever I opened it while cooking, melting the plastic that housed the wires, leaving the wires exposed. Thankfully I caught this before anything bad happened. So, when I looked for my next grill, I specifically looked for one that addressed this issue (the grease leaking underneath whenever you open the grill while cooking). The Calphalon addresses this issue with the drip tray in the back. Other grill makers need to follow suit!
The price tag seemed high to me, but it does come with a much better warranty than other models, it is made from higher quality parts, and it looks like something one would see in a professional kitchen. My husband is a chef, and is extremely happy with this grill as well. I'm not one known to buy high-end appliances, but in this case I did and can honestly say that I have no regrets. I highly recommend this grill!JULY 18th 2010: UPDATE
I just wanted to update and let everyone know that after daily use for well over a year, I can happily report my Calphalon indoor grill is still going strong!
Cleanup is still a breeze and the coating is still perfect. After you cook on it and the plates have cooled down, place the plates in the sink and spray a little water on them, let them soak for a few minutes. Then rinse. I have never had anything clean as easily as these plates!
I read that some people have problems with the front panel coming off or knobs breaking. I haven't had that happen. I'm wondering if there was a bad batch of these, and somehow I lucked out. I bought my grill from Amazon, if that helps. Everything still works like a charm and we put this grill through its paces!
Someone mentioned the top plate coming off while they were cooking. They must not have put it on correctly. If it doesn't snap in, it isn't on there right. Be careful with that.
My grill heats up in about 5 minutes. No problems there. I love the timer. 350 degrees seems to be a magic temperature for me. I cook almost everything at that setting. This is a wonderful grill. I'm very happy we splurged last year and bought it.

Cook for a few or for a crowd with the extra-large capacity of this countertop grill. The unit features heavy-gauge cast-aluminum nonstick grill plates that can fit up to six burgers, six 4-ounce chicken breasts, or four Panini-style sandwiches at a time. And, since it cooks both sides simultaneously, food grills quickly and efficiently. To use, simply turn the control knob to select the desired heat setting from 200 degrees F for warming up to 450 degrees F for searing. After about five minutes of preheating, a "ready" light will illuminate. Place food on the lower grill plate, close the lid, and select "always on" for continuous grilling or set the 30-minute timer for a designated cooking time--a bell will sound at the end and the grill will stop heating. Other highlights include an Opti-Heat system for premium heating, adjustable height to accommodate everything from thick steaks to grilled-cheese sandwiches, an internal drip tray to catch excess fat, and easy-to-read controls. To protect the nonstick coating on the grill plates, use only non-metal, temperature-resistant utensils, such as wood or nylon. The removable drip tray and grill plates can go in the dishwasher or be washed by hand and the base wipes clean easily with a soft, damp cloth. For compact storing, simply empty and clean the drip tray, close the grill, move the height selector into the lock position, and tuck the grill away either laying flat or standing upright. Housed in stainless steel with a sleek contoured shape, the 1500-watt grill measures 12-8/9 by 15-2/3 by 6-3/5 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.

Meco 5030 Electric Grill and Combination Water Smoker Review

Meco 5030 Electric Grill and Combination Water Smoker
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
First, let me say that my husband and I are smoker morons - we need a book titled 'Smokers for Dummies'. But, we have always wanted a smoker, and in researching the electric version of this little unit, I found lots of people were happy with it. I also noticed that it can be converted to charcoal (or vice versa for the charcoal unit) with a conversion kit available from the manufacturer. For the charcoal version, I was concerned about having to watch the coals for hours to assure proper heat, and being able to control the 220 degree temperature which is perfect for smoking. After using this little puppy for the first time, I am quite impressed with it. The thermostat allows for constant temperature control, and allows you to go about your life instead of baby sitting a smoker all day.
The large box arrived with lots of parts, but was assembled in about an hour - the instructions were very good. We immediately put a beef brisket into the unit, turned it on, and added mesquite chunks. The unit came with some hickory chumks to get you started, but we will use those later I presume. The neighborhood smelled like a BBQ pit, and everyone came to see what was going on. Talk about a make-shift party! The 4.5 pound brisket took around 4 hours to cook. Hindsite, I would have brined the brisket prior to smoking it to help it retain more moisture, but it was not that dry at the end. A little BBQ sauce on the cooked meat handled that problem.
The unit recommends using wood chunks, not chips. It tells you to put the chunks on top of the electric coils. Not only did I find this difficult to do (balance the wood on the electric coils) but I found that even after soaking the chunks for a hour or more, I had to replace them every hour or so (I used 2 each time). They tended to burn up, and I suspect that is why the brisket was a bit dry (that, and I bought the brisket at a super market near-by who sells 'select' meat, so there was little if any marbling in the meat).
But the taste and the flavor of the brisket was great. Lots of mesquite smoke flavor. We sliced it very thin (as I had said, the meat had little marbling, so tenderness was not the poor brisket's forte). Added some BBQ sauce, and served it up with potatoes, beans and corn bread. As good as any high priced BBQ pit in the area. I was thoroughly pleased.
My one neighbor was shocked that we would purchase an electric version of this unit. He has a charcoal one. He said 'You will miss all of the the flavor with electric! Why not just steam the meat?'. Well, he ate those words right after he ate some of the brisket. We actually got more flavor out of this unit than he gets from his charcoal one because it is difficult to add wood to his, and simple to add it to this one! I would challenge anyone who says you can not get flavor from an electric smoker if you use wood to flavor the meat.
On the positive side of this unit: Great flavor, simple to assemble (allow an hour and have a screw driver and a pliers ready), easy to use (no replacing charcoal), the water container is 5.5 quarts - enough for 5 hours of smoking, doors to add additional wood or water as needed, the bullet shape is attractive on the patio, it has a thermostat and a temperature gauge (although the settings are only low/medium/high and warm/ideal/hot respectively this seems to be adequate), easy to clean, you can add wood and water without removing the cover or meat - heat loss is minimal, .
On the negative side of this unit: There are some gaps where the lid sits on the top of the unit so some smoke is lost (on the plus side, this attracts curious neighbors!), the instructions are for the charcoal version - not the electric one - you are pretty much on your own, it tends to run a bit hot so once heated I would recommend turning the control to 'medium-high' to continue the cooking and maintain that 220 degree temperature, it burned up the wood chunks instead of allowing them to smolder - decreasing the temperature should help this some, cleaning the bottom bowl requires loosening the electric element to remove the pan - although cleaning this is not necessary each time you use it, some of the body parts were a bit bent when it arrived even though the box was fine - a pliers fixed this problem.
I would recommend this unit to even a novice smoker. We had great success with this unit and our first smoking episode, and plan to use it throughout the year for smoking beef, pork, fish and fowl. It also has instructions for smoking cheese and nuts if that is your liking.
When smoking, I recommending having a pair of tongs to add wood to the fire if you like a heavy smoke taste - makes it easier adding the wood through the available door.
Gee, I wonder what smoked beer would taste like?

Coleman Pack-Away Portable Fireplace Grill Review

Coleman Pack-Away Portable Fireplace Grill
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Nicely made, well thought out, and works perfectly! Last night my son and I built a nice toasty campfire using this IN THE RAIN and had a great time. When you're done using it (cooled off and cleaned), it packs up neatly into a compact storage bag. There's plenty of extra room inside the bag to store some newspaper and a few fire building essentials like matches, a hatchet, and gloves.
HINT: The trick to building a successful campfire in a bowl shaped fireplace like this (or even in a regular fire pit located on the ground) is to provide plenty of airflow to the fire. To accomplish this, start by placing a couple of small (3" to 4" diameter) logs a few inches apart and parallel to each other in the bottom. Build your fire on top of these logs so air the can circulate underneath. Crumple up some newspaper between the logs, then stack thin dry kindling in the shape of a tee pee over the newspaper. Light the newspaper and once the kindling catches well, start stacking 1" to 2" diameter pieces of dry firewood on top of the kindling and continue to add larger pieces as the fire will permit. In no time you'll have a roaring fire and a nice bed of glowing coals will develop on the bottom of the bowl.
Follow up post April 2010:
We just got back from a vacation with our travel trailer at an out-of-the-way desert RV park in southeastern California and we used our little portable Coleman fire pit about half a dozen times while staying there. It was a huge hit with family, friends, and even some strangers we invited over to join us one night around the campfire. I had several people inquire where I got it and how much it costs. We had roaring flames at the start of each evening, and when we let the fire die down to a nice bed of glowing coals, we roasted marshmallows and made s'mores.
Due to all the heat and flames, the black paint on the screen cover has all but turned a dull grey, but we could care less... functionally it does the job and you can't see the color in the dark anyway! No paint could withstand the heat and flames we've subjected that screen to. The stainless steel pan seems to be holding up well, and we've had it hot enough at times that it's glowed red in the darkness. The folding stand still looks good as new... no discoloration of the paint.
In summary, this portable fire pit is a true winner... lightweight, compact, and convenient.

Charcoal Companion Silver Chimney Charcoal Starter Review

Charcoal Companion Silver Chimney Charcoal Starter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This starter does precisely what it is intended to do. It starts coals quicker and easier than the conventional method. Nothing more, nothing less.
After twenty-five uses, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. But I am a little concerned about durability. One concern is that it is starting to rust. I keep it outdoors but it is not exposed to the elements. I don't know if this is common with charcoal starters, but I don't expect to get another season out of it as the rust is progressing rapidly.
Another concern is with the handle. While it was tight and secure for the first dozen uses or so, It has now loosened up. The rivets seem secure, but the handle wobbles. Not a good feeling when you are handling hot coals.
The heat shield and wooden handle effectively work together so that you could use your bare hand, but I still recommend using a high quality glove or mitten as the supports on the handle get very hot.
Overall, it's not a bad starter, but it does have a couple of issues that would prevent me from buying another one. If you have the money, consider spending a little more for a starter from a better known company. Otherwise, expect to get about a season of use out of this one.

King Kooker KKDFF30T 30-Inch Dual-Burner Outdoor Propane Frying Cart
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This fryer is junk, to begin with it was short parts and the pans were bent because of shabby packageing and cheap box. When cooking with it you have to keep adjusting the heat as it won't hold an even tempature, one pan will get hot and the other too cold, you adjust it and it goes the other way, one reason for this is the paper thin pans that won't hold any heat. The directions for assembly are very scant. Again this fryer is junk, I will not recommend to anyone.

Ideal for picnics, potlucks, neighborhood block parties, and other outdoor events, this 30-inch propane cart features two 54,000-BTU cast burners and recessed framing that firmly supports the two included rectangular-shaped aluminum fry pans. The cooker provides one frying basket that fits neatly inside one of the fry pans, plus two smaller frying baskets that fit side by side in the other fry pan for cooking up French fries, chicken wings, onion rings, and more. Heat-resistant loop side handles on the pans ensure safe transport, while long, heat-resistant handles on the frying baskets make it easy to safely lower or raise food from hot oil, keeping hands and arms a safe distance from splatters and potential burns. The CSA-certified unit attaches to its fuel source with LP hoses and a regulator outfitted with a type-1 connection (propane tank sold separately). Even more, each burner supplies a brass needle valve for individual flame control, which makes it easy to gently fry fragile doughnuts or dumplings on one side while preparing crunchy drumsticks or deep-fried corn dogs on the other. Additional highlights include two deep-fry thermometers for checking oil temperatures at a glance, durable construction, and two smooth-rolling wheels for simple transport. Bodum Fyrkat 13.4-Inch Portable Charcoal Grill Review

Bodum Fyrkat 13.4-Inch Portable Charcoal Grill
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Bodum Frykat 13.4 Inch Portable Charcoal Grill is a handy little grill for those who don't have the space for a larger grill, or who want a portable grill you can take along just about anywhere. It's small enough to take along and use wherever, but large enough to cook a fair amount at a time. This is more for the family going on a picnic or cooking a couple burgers and hot dogs quickly in the back yard or on the deck, not for hosting a large party. (It is big enough to cook a couple steaks too)
I have the orange model, which my little girl really likes because she likes orange. However, it does come in green, yellow, black, blue and off-white. Personally, I'd probably go with the black model if it was just me, but it is nice that they have the colors for those that want the variety. Most important thing is that it cooks, and that it does.
There is a small tray and grate that fits in the bottom to place your charcoal on top of, and then there is the larger grill that fits on top. The unit is not very deep, so you won't be placing a lot of charcoal in it. Again, this is for cooking small meals, and it works just fine for that. The legs are sturdy enough. I placed mine on the concrete beside our back door and it was fine. The directions to state that the unit is not intended to be used on top of tables.
There is a handle on top of the lid that is rubber covered so it does not get hot when on the grill. I had no issues with taking the cover off to turn our meat or retrieve it when it was done. There are two air vents right under the handle, and you close those by turning the handle. There are also three rubber clips on the side. These are for transporting the unit when not in use. These clips clamp the lid to the rest of the unit and you can then pick up the entire grill by the convenient handle on top and take the grill with you wherever you go. You don't want to do this unless it is cool of course.
If you are looking for a small charcoal grill due to lack of space, or need a smaller spare for taking with you, the Bodum Frykat 13.4 Inch Portable Charcoal Grill is a good little unit that does the trick. It is a bit more expensive than some of the models you can find, but it is nicer in a couple ways than some of the cheaper ones I've seen too. I like cooking with it, my little girl likes the color, and I'm sure it will be a nice, handy, little grill for many lunches, dinners, and picnics.

Lodge Logic L410 Pre-Seasoned Sportsman's Charcoal Grill Review

Lodge Logic L410 Pre-Seasoned Sportsman's Charcoal Grill
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I ordered this heavy (33 pounds) little jewel from Amazon a week ago, got it much earlier than expected and tried it out the day I got it. I now have 4 grills: An "oil barrel" type that is perfect for when the family tribe shows up, 2 Weber kettle types in different sizes for weekend entertaining and now the Lodge.
I've had several cast aluminum discount store hibachi's over the years and after the wooden handles fall off, the legs become impossible to tighten and then the "adjustable" supports for the grill crack. I don't see that happening with this hibachi.
Let the grill pre-heat, spray it with PAM and then enjoy the meal. The heat is even, cooking times may be a bit faster than you think, but the dish will be excellent.
HOWEVER! If one is cooking on a wooden deck, as I do, invest in some bricks or concrete pavers to go under the feet. Like all cast iron, this sucker retains heat and you don't want to burn your house down while entertaining guests.
Look for the book "The Honerable Hibachi" by Kathryn Popper. An excellent guide/recipe book.
I wonder if this would be safe to use in a large fireplace in winter months. Any ideas?
I'm thinking about getting another Lodge and then finding a home for the smaller Weber.
Get one and then enjoy your hibachi.
Update Feb 26, 2006:
I've now had the Lodge Hibachi for 4 months and typically use it several times a week. Clean-up is even easier than it was when new. Remember to put a little olive oil or PAM on the grids first and the seasoning improves. In cold, rainy weather, the hibachi fits and cooks nicely in my fireplace (thanks, Ukiechris!), but I crack a window when I do that.
Although quite heavy, it's a great picnic grill and will easily cook chicken, steaks or burgers for 4 people. My Webers must think I don't love them anymore. I do, but the Lodge is perfect for 1-4 people and chicken cooked on the hibachi has a flavor my kettle or barrel grills just can't match.
Besides cooking for that tribal gathering, I'll let you know if I find something the Lodge can't do.

Made with durable, even-heating cast iron, this rugged, charcoal, hibachi-style grill works great for picnics, tailgating, car camping, or anywhere a self-contained outdoor cooking source is needed. The unit's cooking grate is also made of cast iron--a treasured cooking material that heats slowly yet retains its heat for long periods of time, making it far more efficient than aluminum or steel grates. The grill's cooking surface measures 17-1/4 by 9 inches and comes seasoned and ready to use. Easily temper the cooking speed of food by rotating the grate away from the heat source. The grill has two adjustable heights, along with a draft door that regulates the heat--so in addition to frying or grilling, the unit can warm a pot of coffee or chili. Coals are accessible behind a flip-down door. Other convenient features include four steady legs, a useful carrying handle, and a simple-to-clean design--just hand wash with a stiff brush and hot water. The Sportsman's charcoal grill measures 19 by 10-1/4 by 8-1/4 inches and carries a limited lifetime warranty.

Coleman RoadTrip Cast Aluminum Accessory Grill Review

Coleman RoadTrip Cast Aluminum Accessory Grill
Average Reviews:

We have used these grates all year and love them. Easy clean-up -- can go right in the dishwasher (when we get back from camping!) The other reviewer needs to remember that the grates are non-stick, so SOS pads can be a little rough on them. Coleman does now make a cast iron grill grate for the Roadtrip grill. Maybe they need to get those instead.
