Infinite Circulon 4-Quart Covered Saucepot Review

Infinite Circulon 4-Quart Covered Saucepot

We have purchased several less expensive brands of nonstick cookware. Last year for Christmas my husband purchased a wok for me, and it was a Circulon product. Each time I used it I noticed that it was extremely easy to clean, both inside and out. I decided to use Amazon's informative website to do some investigation and found that there were several types of Circulon cookware. I decided to go for the Infinate Circulon because I do own a glass top stove and did want the feature of placing my pans in the dishwasher. I have never been happier! They clean up so easy and are pretty enough to take to the table. I also saved up to half off on the price by choosing Amazon over our local shops. Free shipping also!

All-Clad Stainless 4-Quart Casserole Pan Review

All-Clad Stainless 4-Quart Casserole Pan
Average Reviews:

This pot is the perfect size for a standard soup recipe. I have the Dutch oven and the 6-qt stock pot as well, but I still wanted this pot. I have not been disappointed. I like the taller shape; it jut feels more like a soup pot to me (I understand this is completely subjective.)
All-Clad Stainless is my favorite line of cookware. The clad technology means even heat conduction and it works on induction cookware. An extra bonus for me is the easy clean up -- throw it in the dishwasher. Whne necesary, polish with a Bar Keeper's Friend and it will look like new forever.
If you are choosing between this and a Dutch oven, go with the Dutch oven because the shape is more versatile. This pot is not a must-have, but a great have if you make a lot of soup and are looking for an addition to your All-Clad set.

All-Clad Stainless 4-Quart Saucepan with Loop Review

All-Clad Stainless 4-Quart Saucepan with Loop
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
All clad pans are great, with one caveat. This line doesn't have a rolled lip so that pouring is more difficult than it should be. Of course with a 4qt pan that usually isn't an issue.
If you are strong enough to lift a 4qt pan by the long handle don't get this version, get the one without the lip. Why? Because the loop handle prevents both the steamer and the double boiler inserts from seating firmly. They work, but it isn't as good as the non loop version. Now admitly using a 4qt pan for steaming is overkill, but if the 3qt version is in use, or you didn't buy that one too, you will wish you had the non loop version.
These pans are heavy, (Although not as heavy as pure copper pans)and a gallon of fluid is too, so that if you are small the extra loop would be beneficial for moving the pot from stove to sink, so like everything its a tradeoff.

Preparing sauces, soups, and more has never been easier than with this sauce pan by All-Clad. Near perfect in design, the pan is constructed of three layers of metal; two stainless steel outer layers with an aluminum core. The stainless steel exterior combined with the aluminum core allows the pan to be used on all types of stovetops, including induction, and heats the pan evenly to eliminate hot spots. The included stainless steel lid holds in heat and steam to create succulent and juicy meals, and has an easy to grasp handle. The classically shaped, straight sides and design provides a beautiful presentation in the kitchen, and makes cooking straightforward while keeping foods cooking evenly. The handle is riveted to the wall of the pan, for extra durability, and the sleek design and appearance compliments all kitchen settings. When you're finished cooking, the pan can be hung through the handle's eyelet for convenient storage. To protect your hands from burning, and to provide additional leverage, a looped, easy to grasp handle is attached to the side of the pan.
Producing some of the finest cookware in the nation, All-Clad has been featured in many high class and gourmet restaurants for its superior performance and aesthetically designed pieces crafted from American artists using the finest metals. A firm believer in quality over convenience, All-Clad's metals are formulated and bonded with cooking performance in mind, and are combined with stunning designs to provide you with the best cooking experience possible.

Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Stainless 6-Quart Saucepot with Cover Review

Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Stainless 6-Quart Saucepot with Cover
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've cooked with, burned bone dry, and cleaned regular All-Clad almost daily for years so I am pretty familiar with its performance. I'm happy to report that this first Multiclad of mine performs similarly: boils quicker than regular pots with minimal hot spots, and cleans easily. [...]
Instead of going cheap or being a complete All-Clad copy cat, Cuisinart decided to throw in some improvements:
- Longer side and lid handles for cooler handling
- Brushed finish on exterior that goes about 3/4 of the way up hides scuffs
- Impeccable finish. Can't say the same for an All-Clad sauté pan which I payed full price for :(
- Better quality stainless steel? Maybe I just got a good batch, but the luster seems to suggest higher chrome content
Great offering Cuisinart! Keep up the quality and continue to be cost competitive vs. All-Clad and I will be back to supplement my cookware collection with Multiclad individual pieces. And BTW, this 6 quart is indispensable if you are cooking for 3-4 people.

Farberware Classic Stack 'N Steam 3-Quart Saucepot and Steamer Review

Farberware Classic Stack 'N Steam 3-Quart Saucepot and Steamer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This has got to be the deal of the century, and not only that, these pans will last you almost that long! My mother has had a set for 35 years, and I've had mine for 5. Nearly indestructible, dishwasher safe, good performers on the stovetop, with stay-cool handles! They even look great after all those years!
Keep in mind that because they are mostly stainless steel, with an aluminum bottom, Farberware does not heat up quite as fast as, say, hard-anodized aluminum such as Calphalon, which gourmets prefer. Stainless steel is a poor heat conductor, while aluminum is good and copper is the best. On the plus side, you can't put Calphalon in the dishwasher and Calphalon does not have true stay-cool handles, like Farberware.
Anyway, how often do you buy a gift knowing that it will still be around 20, 30, 40 years from now? By the way, if the pot does have a problem, they come with a Lifetime Warranty.

What could be healthier than steamed veggies on a bed of rice or pasta? With this stackable set you can utilize the steam from whatever's simmering below to cook whatever's on top. How's that for cooking efficiency? Functional as well as beautiful, this 3-quart saucepot and 2-quart steamer insert are made of heavy 18/10 stainless steel polished to a mirror finish. The pot has an aluminum core in its base to spread heat quickly and evenly. The core is completely clad in stainless steel so, like the rest of the pot and the steamer, the pot bottom resists corrosion and discoloring and cleans up easily. Thick rolled rims add durability and make it possible to pour from the pot without dripping. Because the pot is 4-1/2 inches deep and comes with a tight-fitting, domed lid, it is roomy enough to simmer stocks and soups and can also be used for braising veal shanks or for cooking chili on the stovetop or in the oven. (The handles are oven-safe to 350 degrees F and stay cool on the stovetop.) The pot and steamer are dishwasher-safe and come with a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
